寫了篇文去 Asrock 度發晦氣
I have bought a new system with the 775Twins-HDTV motherboard. The windows xp installation disk cannot detect the SATA controller and is unable to install.
According to the FAQ, this can be resolved by pressing F6 during install and load the driver from floppy. The problem is that I don't have a floppy drive. I did some research and believe that there were several possible workarounds
1) Modify the txtsetup.sif file to load the driver (m5287.sys + ULiSATA.inf) during install and copy the file to the Windows XP installation directory. I can check and verify that the file is copied to the target location CORRECTLY. But when windows XP boots, 0x0000007B error occurs.
2) Add the driver to $OEM$ directory. The same result.
3) Use Linux + VMWare to perform a fresh install to the partition and install the driver. Afterwards, boot directly from the partition. However, the problem is that the driver refuse to install when it detected no ULi hardware.
Can you suggest a way to resolve any of the above problems? If not, I WOULD DEMAND ASROCK TO SPECIFY, HIGHLIGHT AND EMPHASIS REQUIREMENT OF FLOPPY DRIVE TO INSTALL WINDOWS ON A SYSTEM WITH THE MOTHERBOARD.
公司的痛苦經歴
最近在公司好慘！尤其昨日本來是假期，但又要上班
數天前 database 死了，Operator 不知如何 recover，sequence restore 了舊數值，以致和現有數據相撞
以為教了 operator 如何更正 sequence 的數值就完事，豈料竟有一條 sequence 做漏了！結果 user 不少數據 save 不到，又浪費了幾個小時 troubleshooting
寫程式又有神秘 bug，沒有執行要行的東西…又花幾小時才發現原來 NullPointerException之後，我們用的 library 會不了了之。沒有 error message，又有些東西不執行
另外，最近做 appraisal，但都不知 appraisal 了什麼
大嶼山苦路
今天去大嶼山，名為行苦路，但其實苦路好短，絕大部分時間都係行山
行了約三小時，手軟腳軟
去大嶼山行苦路，但從愉景灣行到苦路及是日主要活動，行去梅窩，就較長。
9:45 在東涌集合，都早到，先搭巴士到惀景灣買午餐，自由活動一會，之後開始行程！
苦路其實很短，共十五站，每站一個十字架，上有耶穌像及該站主題（兩個字！）。如果沒有人講解，都好戇居
行完後參觀了一間天主教堂，入面又有苦路 
。食午餐野餐，好多蟲，都黐飲黐食不少，哈哈！
之後是全日最吃力的一段路—上山，上到涼亭唱了一會詩歌，就上踏下山回歸之路
主要是行樓梯，梯級好細，好易叉錯腳！！
四點上船回中環，五點到，好好訓！！之後散 band。大隊去尖沙咀食飯，但我步行回家…
行完之後，手軟腳軟（前日抬電腦）
全日開支︰$18.1（地鐵）+ $8（巴士去愉景灣）+$10（午餐）+$18 左右（回程船）
