Mail to Oracle
Dear Oracle,
I've taken the “Oracle Database 11g: New Features for Administrators” Exam (1Z0-050) 15-Dec-2007 (Prometric confirmation number: xyz123) during beta. I've logged in Prometric and checked that the exam failed. However, I have not received any notification from Oracle about the exam result. I would expect a formal reply with breakdown on the scores in individual sections.
By the way, I must PROTEST that the exam description was incorrect, as it missed many topics which appeared in the exam (http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=41&p_org_id=15941&lang=US&p_exam_id=1Z0_050). For example, I can't imagine Virtual Private Catalog is within the exam scope according to this page. Instead, it is taught in the “Oracle Database 11g: New Features for Administrators” course (identical name…). Does this mean that the true exam topic is described in this course page, instead of the exam page? If not, where can I find the ACTUAL exam topic list? This is unfair for us who followed the exam scope to prepare the exam.
